For most of my career I was a materials scientist/engineer. During a visit to the National Aquarium in Baltimore my son and I discovered the aquarium setting on our cameras. That and an introductory photography class with Craig Norton started me on this journey. My primary interests are landscape, nature and sports/action photography, I document both the built and natural world. Recently I have begun to explore more abstract expression. My photographs have been exhibited across the country from West Hartford, Mystic and Middletown, CT to the Linden Gallery in Ellison Bay, Wisconsin. My photograph, Jin Mao Tower, won first place in the New England Camera Club Council black and white print competition.

August 2025. I have 1 photo in the Fairfield Museum Images show from August 8-September 21. 370 Beach Road, Fairfield, CT
July 2025 I have 2 photos in the Arts Center East summer themed show,.709 Hartford Turnpike Vernon. CT.the show is from July 5 through August 2. The gallery is open Thursday -Saturday 1-5pm.. The opening is July 5 at 2pm.
